Re: Scientology v. Armstrong, et al.
Marin Superior Court Case No. CV 021632
Dear Ms. Rajkowski:
This is in response to your letter of October 11, 2002 .
You say that I left a telephone message for Mr. Wilson on October 2, in which I stated:
“I am calling about service. I haven’t heard from you. I haven’t received any documents yet, so I wanted to find out if you were intending to serve me or what the status is.”
You then say that because the summons and complaint was delivered by Federal Express on September 27 to the address I gave to Mr. Wilson in my letter of September 2, 2002 my statements are not supported by the facts. You have jumped to an erroneous conclusion.
If I had been the person who signed for your package on September 27 you would be right, but I was not, so you’re wrong.
As I said in my September 2 letter, my mother refused service because I was not living there, had not been there for many months, and she had no way of sending me whatever you were trying to serve on me. See:
I have, since my call to your office, which you say occurred on October 2, received your package of documents relating to the above-referenced case, for which service I thank you very much, and I will soon file a responsive pleading.
But do you really think that if I had actually received the documents you Fed Exed before I called I would have called as I did and said what I said? Isn’t what you’re alleging just a silly way to get back at me because I have legitimately complained about your office’s history of service chicanery?
The fact is, I will not spend much time at the below address, to which I requested Mr. Wilson mail the summons and complaint, and which is still good for service of your documents, because of the obvious threats from your client. That Scientology’s nefarious Office of Special Affairs, under the direction of David Miscavige, is already targeting me for its fair game operations at that address is shown by a letter from your client’s German hate magazine “”Freiheit” ” dated September 24, 2002.
If you have any doubt about the Scientology cult’s “”Freedom”” or “” Freiheit”” being a hate publication, read these:
And if you have any doubt about the fair game intentions and actions of your cult client, read this letter: http://www.gerryarmstrong.org/50grand/cult/osa-ltr-fsb-2001-04-20a.html
By continuing your campaign of religious persecution to enforce the patently illegal, indeed diabolical, “mutual release and settlement agreement” and the equally illegal and diabolical Thomas injunction, you are enabling, supporting and promoting this dangerous cult’s criminal fair game activities. You are, of course, a significant beneficiary of these illegal, diabolical documents, and hence a beneficiary of all the Scientology fair game they encourage and facilitate.
I don’t really expect you to do the right thing and refuse to continue this evil charade that the “mutual release” you’re attempting to judicially enforce is legal and legally enforceable, because, as I say, you are a significant beneficiary of that evil. But I do expect you to acknowledge that your statement that my statements made to Mr. Wilson’s answering machine on October 2 are not supported by the facts is itself not supported by the facts.

Re: Church of Scientology International v. Armstrong, et al./Our File SC102-28
We write in response to your telephone message of October 2, 2002 at 11:53 a.m. to Andrew Wilson of this office. In that message,c you stated that “I am calling about service. I haven’t heard from you. I haven’t received any documents yet, so I wanted to find out if you were intending to serve me or what the status is.”
Despite these statements, we are confident that service was performed properly in Canada on July 8, 2002 by the sheriff in compliance with the Hague Convention on international service. Enclosed please find a copy of the Proof of Service filed with the Court.
Nevertheless, after receiving your letter of September 2, 2002 stating that you had not received these documents, out of an abundance of caution, we sent you, by Federal Express delivery at the Germany address provided by you, an additional copy of all of the documents previously served in Canada. Enclosed please find a copy of the Federal Express delivery confirmation establishing that the package was signed for on September 27, 2002.
Therefore, your statements are not supported by the facts. The enclosed documentary evidence confirms that service has been accomplished. Accordingly, please arrange to file a responsive pleading as soon as possible or, we will have no alternative but to proceed to take your default and obtain a judgment in due course.
If you have any questions, please call.

Dear Reverend Gandow,
Thank you for your prompt answer of September 20, 2002 and regret that you were not ready to answer our questions of September 18, 2002. We will of course take your response into consideration accordingly. However, we have further questions for you and would welcome it if you would find time to answer.
1. What legal relationship does the entity of the Dialog Zentrum Berlin have to the Evangelical Church in Berlin-Brandenburg? Can the Dialog Zentrum be described as being part of the State Chnurch, or is it organizationally and financially independent on a footing separate from the State Church?
2. Is the donations bank account of the Dialog Zentrum Berlin an account for which the State Church has deposit and withdrawal rights, or are these rights yours alone?
3. Is Heimat 27 in Berlin, where you reside, the property of the State Church or is it in your private possession?
4. Is it true that Mr. Armstrong, a refugee from US justice, has found a new home in your Heimat 27 and is being provided with accommodations there? If yes, since when has he been there?
5. Is he registered there?
6. If yes, by what means is his livelihood provided?
a) From the budget of the Dialog Zentrum?
b) From possible employment with the Zentrum?
c) From past donations from the since dissolved LMT’s or from past loans on the part of Mr. Minton?

7. Was Armstrong’s possible accommodations at Heimat 27 made at the initiative of Mrs. Caberta during your last meeting together in Leipzig?
8. What is your position to the fact that Armstrong first fled US justice into Canada and is possibly staying with you in Berlin?
In anticipation until the coming Wednesday of your civil answer, 6 p.m., we remain
Very truly yours,
