Lying to the FBI or else

I was asked about Leah Remini, Mike Rinder, the FBI and the effect my communications are having. Because my relationships with them are matters of public interest to both Scientologists and wogs, I’m posting my response, which follows.

I always have retained hope that my efforts would be worthwhile or worthy. And I’ve always asked that they be. At the same time, I know that it is the labor that is valuable, not the effect or result, which is honestly out of my hands. In my case, my labor, and my brilliant wife Caroline’s labor, has generated, unplanned, a massive, well-documented record, which can be used for education and justice purposes beyond our lifetimes. A long and meaty part of that record concerns Rinder, his treatment or handling of his wog victims, and his dealing with legitimate challenges.

I can’t know if Remini forgives Rinder, or even if she forgives anyone. I can know that she is aware that in all the episodes he did not tell the specific, time, place, form and event truth about what he did to silence or destroy his victims, although his being the Miscavige cult’s key silencer and destroyer was acknowledged.

It would be ordinary due diligence for Remini, her production company and A & E to know what my history is with Rinder, and my current challenges to him, and to her. They might, as Rinder does, treat or handle me as not worth granting a scintilla of credence. SPD 28 “Suppressive Act – Dealing with a Declared Suppressive Person” is eerily on point:

To maintain a line with, offer support to, or in any way grant credence to such a person indicates nothing more than agreement with that person’s destructive intentions and acts. Such dealings in fact act as a covert or overt attempt to undermine and negate the ethics and justice strengths of our ecclesiastical structure.¹

They nevertheless had a responsibility to know of my existence and the challenges I present. And Rinder might have had a duty to divulge to the other Aftermath principals where his scruples might be exposed.

So I don’t think it’s forgiveness from Remini to Rinder, except for perhaps what he did or had done to her. For what Rinder did or had done or is doing to me, I think her position is the same as Rinder’s: that I deserved it then and deserve it now, and am consequently not worth in any way granting any credence. Therefore there’s nothing to forgive.

That is the same position we took in Scientology: SPs deserved whatever Hubbard, Miscavige, Rinder, et al. could do to deprive them of property, injure them by any means, trick them, sue them, lie to them or destroy them. Therefore Hubbard and co. didn’t need forgiveness; they needed our support so they could crush the SPs.

Then there’s the IRS billion dollar tax exemption.

If it is conceivably true that if Rinder told the truth to the FBI he would be prosecuted or it would result in legal actions of one form or another, then he could not have told the truth because he is far from prosecuted and no Federal legal actions have resulted.

The fact that Rinder has been to the FBI is as meaningless as the fact that Miscavige has been to the FBI, or Moxon has been to the FBI, or Hubbard had been to the FBI. Only open statements to his victims are meaningful to his victims. His claimed visits to the FBI in fact are used to excuse his failure to tell the truth to his victims and do what he can to correct ongoing injustices and black propaganda.

The US Federal Government, specifically elements of the US Intelligence Community, colluded with the Scientologists beginning as early as 1991, and broke US laws to grant the cult tax exemption. Relevant US Government officials knew that the Scientologists under Miscavige, just like the Scientologists under Hubbard, were continuously violating public policy, including by framing me and seeking to silence or destroy me. So when Rinder goes to the FBI, if he does, it is to ensure it is known he is not going to tell the truth about lies in the Scientologists’ IRS submissions, the truth about his persecution of the SP religious class, the truth about his conspiracy against rights, and the truth about the Government agencies’ collusion with his co-conspirators.

By having Rathbun make himself so repulsive, and by having him appear to criticize Rinder for what he should be criticized for – not telling the truth about his crimes against wogs — it is then possible to put people who criticize Rinder for not telling the truth – notably his victims — in the same hole for black PR purposes as the repulsive Rathbun.

Rathbun has a second purpose as well. Because Rinder doesn’t provide any specifics of what he did, Rathbun says, his claim on the Aftermath of silencing or destroying people is false. That is, ethical Scientologists have never tried to silence or destroy anyone; otherwise Rinder would say what they did. I think Rathbun signaled to Rinder what a good job he was doing not exposing their crimes and conspiracy.

It is also worth noting that Rathbun’s manifold inconsistencies between what he said at different times renders him a bad witness in legal proceedings, which is what the conspirators would want from him.

Fortunately Rinder doesn’t have everyone bamboozled.
