I, Gerry Armstrong declare: 1. I was a Scientologist from 1969 through 1981. For eleven years, I was in the “Sea Organization,” (“Sea Org”) the segment of Scientologists through which Scientology “churches” and “religious” groups around the world are controlled and Scientology-connected commercial enterprises are overseen. The Sea Org is a pseudo-military organization, and I rose to the rank of “ensign.” I served in the Sea Org on its ships or at its land bases in several countries. 2. … [Read more...] about Declaration of Gerry Armstrong (March 29, 2021)

Blowing the lid off the problem with Clearwater
Hallo Markus: Grüße aus dem Wack! Someone just sent me to a couple of comments you made last December on Mike Rinder’s blog. You were responding to one of his articles that criticized the Scientologists comparing Leah Remini and the Aftermath production to the lie-spreading and discrimination-fomenting of the German Nazis in the 1930’s. https://www.mikerindersblog.org/scientology-and-nazi-germany/ Here are your first comment, Rinder’s reply to you, and your second comment: Markus … [Read more...] about Blowing the lid off the problem with Clearwater
The SP doctrine and the Aftermath
I sent this letter to Leah Remini via one of her Aftermath producers, and copied Mike Rinder. February 19, 2019 Dear Ms. Remini: I am writing about your presentation of the Scientologists’ “Suppressive Person” doctrine, or “SP” doctrine, in your Aftermath series. As you know, I represent the SP Class, and my wife Caroline and I maintain a Suppressive Person Defense League site: http://suppressiveperson.org/ I have been a declared SP since 1982 and Caroline since 2001. I have written … [Read more...] about The SP doctrine and the Aftermath
Batting for CESNUR: Rookie Ian Camacho takes his swings for the team
Dear Mr. Camacho: Thank you. My indenting should make our dialog easy to follow. I am posting our email exchange because your article is public and there is considerable public interest in L. Ron Hubbard, and especially in his exceptional lying and his many other ways of victimizing people. I also believe that the other persons you identify in your article as “critics” and “religious scholars,” and whom, along with me, you disparage, could also benefit from the communications between you and … [Read more...] about Batting for CESNUR: Rookie Ian Camacho takes his swings for the team
Suicide Note
I’ve been thinking about harm done by the actions of the Scientologists and their colluders, and Dr. Harry Bailey comes to mind. His suicide note shows the ultimate level of emotional distress the Scientologists and their colluders -- with their intelligence, PR and lawfare tentacles and operations -- can generate in their victims. “Let it be known that the Scientologists and the forces of madness have won.” According to reports, Dr. Bailey suicided on September 8, 1985. This is the same year … [Read more...] about Suicide Note
A letter to Mike Rinder: Your victim speaks up (Part 6)
https://youtu.be/y8KKi0ldTL8 I have no doubt that cowardice, moral cowardice, abounds in the world. Without my knowing what it was, I think it was my “ruin,” which was important in my recruitment into Scientology. I didn’t speak up when I morally should have. If we are all moral cowards, then there would be no one who modeled for people moral courage. Yet it is known that such people do exist. It is also obvious that the morally cowardly can fake or pretend moral courage. You did this as a … [Read more...] about A letter to Mike Rinder: Your victim speaks up (Part 6)
